Ever since installing 8.4 my battery can't last through the day. I had my phone charging through a computer and listening to NPR and it still died.

When I wake up in the morning the battery is at <10%. I hope this isn't an issue that doesn't get fixed for 2-3 months

I went from 8.2-8.4 on my 6. Battery life seems about the same so far.

I'd recommend a reset/start from scratch

Great battery here, downgraded from iOS 9, is watsapp shows up in usage list? If so then in privacy contacts disable for the watsapp and enable as needed.

I'm noticing the same on my 6+. After a normal day of usage in 8.3 my battery would be around 50-60%, now after a less than a normal day in 8.4 my battery is down to 36%. Neither of these involved listening to any music.

I haven't used the music app at all today and battery life has been horrible. My phone is at 53% right now. The phone has been unplugged from the charger for less than 9 hours and usage is about 4 hours. Normally with the same usage and standby time before 8.4 I would be at 70%. I've disabled Apple music and iCloud music library. For the first time today I noticed my phone getting really hot when using google maps for navigation for 15 minutes. The car was not hot and air conditioning was running. I think I might do a clean restore if this continues.

Had probably what is the best battery usage and standby I've ever had yesterday on my second day of using 8.4. Today it's been somewhat below average, which is not that common, but also not unusual with previous iOS 8 versions. So over a few days it's more or less about the same as before.

Battery life seems similar to 8.3 on my IP6. Yesterday I was at the beach for about 5 hrs listening to music through BT with some email and web browsing. I had 80% battery remaining when I got home.

+1 Add me to the list. iPhone 6+ gets very warm whilst streaming, and becomes unresponsive/music will skip like the processor is being throttled to reduce temperature.

Same usage as before 8.4: 1.5 hours for my morning commute/workout and 1 hour for my commute home. Streaming Beats Music would use 2% battery over 24hrs. Now the Music App is using 17% battery over 24 hours.

Even when I'm not streaming, battery life seems worse.

Anyone tried restoring (fresh or from backup) yet?

Also, if I restored as a new device, anyone know if my Activity App data will sync from iCloud or is it restored from backup only? Don't want to lose my 'achievements' ;)

Battery is MUCH better for me, usually at 50% I would see 3-3.5 hours of use.

i am not sure if 8.4 or the heat wave outside is to blame yet in my case. however my iPhone 6 battery has always sorta sucked

My battery lit was awful on my 6+ at first, all I did was download the install file and forced the update through iTunes, performance was greatly improved, so was battery life and the phone stopped getting really warm

On 8.4 I was getting about 15% less battery life for a day's use. I do not use Apple Music and I disabled Show AM and found my battery appears similar to 8.3. ;)
iPhone 6+ 64gb AT&T

What exactly did you do? I unchecked "show apple music" but that didnt change much in terms of battery...
My battery is around 20% worse with 8.4 - meaning i usually had 60-70% left in the evening and now i have barely 40-50
