Anyone else not a fan of the artwork sitting underneath the status bar? With busy artwork, the status bar is impossible to read. Not a fan.

I'm not either. Same with the down arrow invading the album art.

That's why I used a tweak to remove both on my jail broken phone

They should make it more transparent instead of grey color. They have invaded our artwork with watermarks.

It is very sloppy. I submitted feedback on this. Like others, I don't understand how these sorts of issues are making it into Apple's software these days.

For the very, very short time most people spent staring at their album art it is a whole lot better how it is now instead of a big ugly bar. Looks way nicer overall having the art go all the way up to the top edge of the screen.

If you can't read the status bar because of the art, swiping down half a centimetre is not hard. Does one really need to see the status bar at all times anyways?

Its not just about reading the status bar. When there is text underneath the status bar it looks terrible. Just very un-Apple to not consider that scenario.

This is "sweat the details" stuff that should be second nature by now. It's not as if there's a shortage of space in the area below the album cover, in fact it looks very sparse. I'm also not impressed at how the scrubbing control is now touching the bottom of the album cover and an almost impossible to use size.
