that is the set-up to end all set-ups. You'll be happy with that for several decades to come.
 
Nice set-up. I'm guessing you upgraded from a dual 2.5 G5... how does it compare when performing everyday tasks?
 
Wow, looks great!

I have 2 23" ACDs and still think they're big... What you've got there is humongous! Have fun!
 
Sweet! I have the same setup (Octocore & 9GB RAM), except no ACD 30" which I was going to get, but it's mucho expensive for now so I opted for 2x 20" Wide Samsungs, which are still pretty good, but obviously not as good as a single 30" ACD.

Congrats! This thing is a monster.
 
Awesome! and if you get cold, all you have to do is turn on your computer and WHAM! instant heat!
 
Congrats Crawn! I have the same setup as you and SDAVE (2x Quad 3.0 with 9gb) but went with a NEC 2690WUXi (25.5" LCD). I'm sure you will have a lot of fun with your setup :)
 
gotta echo all the "WOW's" and the *drools* of previous posts. awesome setup! i also really am curious as to what you use all that power for! i have access to a 2.66 quad core mac pro here in lab and it already is MIGHTY powerful. it can churn through simulations over night that my 2.2 SR MBP would take almost 24 hours to do. i just wish i can convince the boss to invest in one of these babies. :eek:
 
This kind of threads make me wet more than a hottie.
The 30' screen and the Mac Pro are my wet dreams. iWet.
