8 Gig Vs 16 Gig Differences?

I'll be going out today to replace an iphone that was recently stolen, and am thinking of replacing it with a 16 gig. Any known problems or issues with these? Will I be better off sticking with the 8 gig?

We have an 8 gig and a 16 gig in our home... and both work fine - no issues from either. Of course, if you're looking at jailbreaking / whatever ... then I have no idea, as both of ours are 'stock'

from what i hear, the 16gb may have a nicer lcd screen.

however, any differences may be minimal. if you could afford the 16gb, get it b/c after the SDK is released, and depending on how accessible is the SDK (free or not), you may end up installing a bunch of apps

I upgraded from the 8 to a 16. I have noticed no other changes than the extra memory. But I do not get all anal about screen versions and BS like that- if it works, I am happy.

The new ZiPhone hack is much easier than what I had to do "back in the day", so that is an improvement (but that would be the same on 8 or 16).

Nothing seems to have changed. The speaker volume is still the same, and the screen is about the same. I can't really tell if it's nicer or not, seems to band a bit more than my old one - or i could be dreaming.

There shouldn't be a difference at all really apart from the disk size.

Sorry mate.. I'm pretty sure you understood exactly what I was trying to say.

I should have said storage then. I'm sure alot of users on here wouldn't even know what SS Ram was.
