8 In store pick up not possible?

Morning,

I'm from the UK and over in Palo Alto the last week of October. I was hoping to go into one of the stores and pickup an 8 or 8+.

I check the apple store every morning and it always says in store pickup isn't available.

Do folk think this will improve in the next few weeks?

Yes. If the store has the model and size you want it will,show pick up. So it will improve over time.

Try to check for inventory after 11-11:30am their time. That was the advice I've gotten from Apple employees in the past. I would also think by October you shouldn't have any issues with inventory. I check locally to me and they're not that hard to come by. But it does change often right now, by the end of October you should be fine.

I was in store yesterday and they had stock that was not showing on website.
Not sure if just delivered and not updated or some held back to keep to sell there. BTW. IP8's were selling well.

My local stores show no availability overnight when closed and by morning show availability.

I setup an in store pick up earlier in the week, picked it up yesterday.. 64GB SG 8 try the stanford shopping center store, seemed to have better "for pickup" options than downtown PA.. also easier to park!
