G.Skill is a good brand and plenty of people have bought that specific RAM for Macs due to it's price. Haven't heard any issues.

The link isn't working for me, were you talking about this ram?

    http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231295

    G.SKILL 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Laptop Memory Model F3-10666CL9D-8GBSQ

I'm thinking of buying the same stuff for my 2011 15" mbp. Anyone have any experience with it?

I looked at those chips, but I ended up with kingston 8gb for 50 as well. I normally buy from OWC but I want to say 20$.

    G.Skill

I also bought g.skill like a week ago and I installed in about two/three days ago. Everything is working perfectly on my iMac 21.5" base model. My imac runs about 8765 on 64-bit geek bench now :D

Is this the set price? Or just promotional? Want so hard.

    I chuckled.

$40-50 for 2x4GB is pretty much the standard now. It's not any promotion.
