Nope, but I just thought that even though this one wasn't really hi-res, it was worth seeing ;)

I'm quite glad you choose to share it, don't get me wrong, I'm just a little sad that it can't span my 12" screen without borders....I was getting so used to no borders :(

Since we are putting in requests , e or anyone else, know of a good hi-res gallery of Emmy Rossum?

Haven't read all 46 pages...

... but in recent months the two most popular threads have been about a 5 button wunder-mouse and a pretty girl. Whilst i must applaud the fact that mac users obviously aren't worried what other people must think of them it is possible that this combination of fan boy fanaticism and adolescent, computer geek perviness could make them wonder what they are getting into. Not sure that this is really indicative of the cool image that apple users like to promote!

BTW I haven't downloaded any of the avatar images but when you share you computer with your fiance it is always difficult to explain why you have a lifesize picture of another girl's face set up as your desktop.

It's just a bit of fun in internet land, what's there to worry about? This is the internet, nobody cares! :D :p

i've gotta agree - this is a very nice pic. :D

'tis a shame it's not as high-res as the others...

and congrats on the 19,000 clicks!! this is just going to keep on, and on, and on...

The popularity of this thread says a lot about the demographic of these forums as a whole, predominantly male and under 20!

While we don't have any compiled gender stats, the most recently published stats on member age (at least based on those who post and those who tell their age), the average age is 28.4. And of that group, the majority are actually over 20.

Besides, appreciating attractive women is not limited solely to males under 20 ;)

...so then...I don't fit the demographic (quite!) :p

You are certainly a a lot closer than me, by miles. Also really like your latest Avatar. A top 10!

now seeing some stats of all the people who've had a click at the link... would be very interesting. :D

but i doubt we'd be able to get everyone who's ever clicked to complete a survey.

btw - i'm 20 y.o. - male. guess i do fit in pretty good to the demographic. :D
(and pround of it!!)

True but most older men don't feel quite so compelled to download hi-res shots/have a partner who might take umbrage to same shots appearing on a desktop. There's no doubt that Keira is a very pretty girl (jury's out on acting talent) but i can see that from the small pics that edesign posts without having to download them for further gratification!

I'm a little surprised to see that the average age falls in the high 20s, perhaps the younger memebers aren't so keen to register such information. Mac owners are a slightly self selecting group because of the price of the hardware which i think probably helps to push that up. As someone said, stats on the downloadees would be interesting, i wonder if edesign could set up a little questionnaire with the next avatar to settle this issue.

That is one of the hottest pictures of a girl I have ever seen in my life!

Please make a post that has links to all of the pictures of her that you have access to edesignuk. :D

I haven't been in the forum for too long, but that is the best picture of her that I've seen on your avatar. :)

For all of those who want a higher resolution picture... just enable zooming by pressing cmd+option+8 and zoom in by pressing cmd+option+=.

Pretty cool isn't it?

It doesn't look too pixilated does it? ;)

If you want to see the pixilation though press command+option+\ while you are zoomed in. To turn that feature off press command+option+\ again.

To zoom back out press cmd+option+-.

I hope this helps. :)

Good tip, didn't know you could do that.

On a side note, I just tried resizing the current pic to 150% scale (using PS CS2), and amazingly it still looks crystal clear  So for anyone who was seeking a larger version, you know what to do! ;)

Now this is a great tip!
I use the cmd + = to magnify emails / webpages and the like when the text is slightly too small to read... but didn't realise it could work for screen shots / open apps as well!

Thanks - very cool!

Amazingly it works really well with small online videos too. You would think that the video would be too choppy to watch but I don't think you lose many (if any) frames while you are zoomed in on a video.

I'd like to see her in real life. God naturally made things unpixilated. ;) God makes the most beautiful things in the world. :)

I saw her on Brekkie news this morning, being interviewed about her role in 'Pride and Prejudice'... she's sooooo had elocution lessons. :p

Bit of a step backwards this one, e. But a small one ;)

Hate to be picky but something weird's going on with her mouth. Oh, and I jus saw the P&P trailer... it's on my hit list. Doubt it will top the BBC adaptation however.

It's probably just me, but the style of her hair and partially her pose make her look like the era of the shot was in the 70's. You know that sort of style.

Like I said it just me, but it has that look.

My god, she is EVERYWHERE now.

Even on the cover of the latest Room Service magazine, which is a restaurant delivery service for inner London... and they've also devoted 5 whole pages to her!
