I think you need to check you math and re read the artical it states

80% of the MS employs that have a portible music player have an ipod and maybe that 80% of the employs own a music player (so now you numbers been reduced to at best 60%)

80% of 100 is 80.
80% of 80 is 64.
So it's about 64% of Microsoft employees who have an iPod.
