Newegg / merchant referral links

Our software adds those types of links automatically to count click-throughs. You didn't give an example but that's very likely the type you are seeing.
You should be able to tell for certain by clicking Quote and seeing that the referral isn't part of the post.

Those are they types of ads I don't mind, they are almost transparent to the user and don't waste much bandwidth at all, just the http headers.
