Repair Shops and Warranty Plans

Suggested public services by MacRumors

1. List of third party repair and upgrade shops by authorized or not. Ability to comment on service experience.

2. List of third party warranty services, especially that cover customer damage. IIRC they are the same or lower cost than Applecare.

I am not sure if this is best a sticky or a database and blog linked from a sidebar.

I'm all for this. As I posted earlier, I have had several trying times when trying to locate the best value place in London to repair several generations of out-of-warranty Apple laptops.

There are not all that many Apple repair shops in London, so a list of them with peoples' comments would be useful.

It seems in the USA there's an apple repair shop on every street, but it isn't like that elsewhere.
