i'm interested how the performance of the 11" air (after upgrading the RAM) would compare to my 2008 MacBook unibody (no firewire model) which is a 2.4GHZ C2D with GeForce 9400M 256MB gfx, 8GB RAM, and a 250GB 5400rpm HD.

i'm guessing the air has 1 RAM slot so it would be really expensive to upgrade it to 8GB. but other than that, how would the performance of the 1.6GHz i5 and the Intel 3000 gfx compare to the above?

edit: oops, the MBA ram really isn't upgradeable. nevermind then!
