852x480 resolution on a mac

I just got my EDTV today, and I'm trying to output video from my MacBook Pro to it. The max resolution is 852x480, but I can't get it to go to that setting, is there anything else I can do?

i've tried changing some parameters around, but i still can't get it to work in 852x480(even though that's the default res on the tv)

any ideas?
