Good point. Although some are actually preferring the matte like finish of the aluminum sides to the fingerprint magnet of the stainless steel

I really wish I didn’t use telephoto portraits of my kids all the time, or I’d get the 12. Portrait mode is ruined without the telephoto IMO and it’s a big part of my camera experience. Dolby Vision @ 60FPS is intriguing on the Pro as well.

If I’m stuck with the Pro variants, so be it. Both look like very similar, great phones.

£150 difference in the UK if you're taking the 128gb. For me it is worth it for the beefed-up camera but it really depends on what you prioritise in a phone.

This was my debate. Wasn't an easy choice, but I prefer the aluminum and the lighter weight is a big deal for portability. Would love telephoto but decided to live without it as the cheaper price of the 12, along with lighter weight won out for me. Ordered the 128 12 in Blue.

I don't need 128gb. I have so much room left on my 64gb Xs...
And the thing I don't like about my Xs is the weight. 12 Pro is even heavier.
I like the camera capabilities of 12 Pro, however. I would definitely upgrade next year if they make 13 Mini Pro, A small lightweight phone jam-packed with all the goodies.
