8800GT (flashed XFX) does not work with Vista 64 driver!?

Hello, not sure if someone posted the same issue before. I have a 2008 Mac Pro with a flashed XFX 8800GT. Works fine in OS X and Windows XP. Now I reinstalled Vista 64 on my Boot Camp harddrive, updated to Bootcamp 2.1 and wanted to upgrade the 8800 GT driver as well. However, using the XFX driver for Vista 64 or the identical driver from the Nvidia webpage I get an error message after installation and the driver is apparently inactivated. Did somebody else have the same problem? Thanks for any help and suggestions

Nvidia website has 175.16 driver.

Try the beta driver from Nvidia. http://www.guru3d.com has 175.70 beta driver.

Yeah, it works with the Guru3D drivers.

how did you flash the 8800GT to EFI? im interested. do you have a link with directions? thanks
