After rebooting from OSX into Windows I now see that the start temperature of my 8800GT Mac in Windows is ~70C after using it in desktop mode (no fancy graphics apps) in OSX. After booting into Windows the GPU-fan starts in 'turbo' mode 70% set by EVGA PrecisionX.
Why doesn't the GPU-fan of the 8800GT make the same speed in OSX as in Windows? Also when playing COD4 in OSX the GTX-670 PC (dedicated game screen) doesn't seem to be triggered to spin-up the gpu-fan.
