Help with Dock crash since 10.6.3

Occasionally I've gotten a weird situation where the Dock would crash over and over. I can't figure out how/when it happens. So far it seems like a simple login/logout fixes it for a while.

Anyone have any idea looking at this crash log?

When it's happening I can get the Dock to throw those errors by simply using CMD+TAB to bring up the app switcher. What seems to happen is when it starts, if I do a CMD+TAB the system throws an error sound.

Any ideas?

I have re-applied the 10.6.3 combo update and done all the other usual stuff.

I am running Spaces with 8 active spaces.

More looking for someone that can see something in the logs.

I just had this issue.....I went to CMD+TAB to Photoshop CS3 and the whole interface froze for a good 20-30 seconds. Nothing moved....no mouse.....frozen.

I can at least reproduce the console errors.

My Photoshop CS3 is assigned to Space 3. If I have a doc open in PS, but I'm in Space 1, and go to close PS from CMD+TAB, that's when the console errors occur.

This wasn't what I was doing when the system froze.

You’re not alone

I’ve had the following on my Early ’09 Mac Pro. 4 Core:

Spaces hangs on space change --> Keyboard becomes unresponsive: Problem resolved by killing Dock. Using nothing but mouse. Detaching/re-attaching the USB keyboard does not help. And keyboard is the standard Mac Pro early '10 Num Pad model.

DVI->HDMI to secondary screen blinks. Every couple - few seconds the secondary screen just blanks out and blinks back with an image. Completely unusable in 10.6.3. Secondary screen is a 40" Sony Full-HD LCD and works just fine on 1) This same machine restored to 10.6.2 2) on a Early '06 Macbook Pro.
