oh wow! i was JUST looking at 8gb kits on newegg and was about to purchase this exact kit @ $89.99.
looks like i will have to pick up a couple sets!

Prices will drop as the sandybridge MacBook will most likely have 1333 and capable of 1600 MHz ram

just ordered a kit thanks! this is perfect since I can then use the 4GB I currently have and upgrade my girlfriend's October 2008 aluminum 13" Macbook :D its a win-win..... I did get hit with $6 tax though since I'm in NY and JandR stores are in NY but still a good deal at $81.

That is a good deal but before I noticed your thread I ordered a 8 gig kit from owc still a good price
It comes this morning I can't wait :D

I finally got my 8gb of Crucial today via Pony Express  Kinda tired not sure I will cracking open the MBP tonight  I guess I need to decide which HD to choose next:D

I might just go for it even though I don't NEED it...

The only time my 2.0 unibody ever gets choppy is when I'm uploading to multiple people on BT. Eh, I don't know. I feel like an SSD upgrade would be more noticeable as I have 4 gb ram right now.

It's amazing haw fast RAM prices have been dropping in the past 2 - 3 months. Makes me feel stupid for paying $129 from OWC early last December.

HDD drives are coming down as well but not as fast, and SSD drive don't seem to be coming down at all. As a matter of fact, OWC's SSD's have increased in price since early December from about $229 for 120Gb to the current $249.

Ordered a set a couple days ago when I seen this )I swear there was another thread on this that I posted in and the thread was removed ).

Anywho, according to the tracking info, it should be here sometimes tomorrow which is great since the MBP I ordered the same day will also be here tomorrow!

Yeah there have been 2-3 threads but I have noticed they keep disappearing also. It's a great deal, I also ordered I set.

Anyone have any idea how much I can get for the 4GB DDR3 I currently have in my MBP 13"? I'll probably throw it up on craigslist soon, just not sure of a starting price. It's less than 3 months old.

I just ordered this. I am so happy with the price! I had $27.13 in my PayPal account and a credit card on the PayPal. I used the $27.13 and money from the credit card, so I really only paid $52.86.

aaaaarrrrrgggghhhhhhh I just bought 4gb kit for damn near that:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Really? You can buy a 4GB kit of DDR3 for like $40. But if you have an older MacBook/Pro that uses DDR2, it will be something like $80.... I bought 2GB RAM for my old DDR2 MacBook from Crucial for $30 about 2 years ago... It is now like $60...

Thought i'd mention this here also...

Anyone wanna sell their old 4gb (2x2gb) RAM (PC3-8500 DDR3 204 pin) for $40 shipped?
