Amazon are flogging the new 8GB black nano for £114.
I'm fairly sure this is a misprice, so it's caveat emptor - don't blame me if they refuse.
Hope this helps someone.

Ooh! Now, you see, that's the kind of price I was hoping to pay for a refurb one when they become refurb, but they aren't yet.

Well spotted. Although it doesn't beat the one I bought at £16.25*, it's a very good discount.

*Thanks to an old Apple voucher I had to use up ;)
 
The orders won't be official until the ship since that's the point they take the money and the offer to sell is complete.

I suspect that unless you ordered last night and it shipped this morning, there'll be emails going out to say that it's been cancelled. Delivery times had gone up to 1-2 weeks earlier today. Mum bought one and a speaker system with the 20% off and got first confirmation of order email.
 
The 4GB Nano is £113.99, clearly they mixes the 8GB nano prices up with the 4gb model.

I suspect you might be right. I have read reports that a few people have had their Despatch emails, but I haven't had mine yet - and I ordered last night, with expected delivery by Tuesday.
We shall see.....
Hopefully I'll (and Lau) get it but if I don't I've only lost about 10 minutes of faffing about.
Look for a post in the Marketplace later in the week for a cheap nano :D

Hmm, I haven't had any word either way. Mine was due to dispatch on Monday, and arrive Wed-Fri, so I suspect they'll have plently of time to realise and cancel it. Oh well, it was worth a try! I was just getting excited as well. :eek:

<Goes back to waiting for refurbs to appear> :p

The friends that I told about this were gutted when they went to order and the price had gone up!

Mine's been "Dispatching Soon — We are preparing these items for dispatch and this part of your order cannot be cancelled or changed." since last night. Come onnnn! I refuse to get too excited until it actually ships, cause I'll be gutted if it gets cancelled.

Had an email from Amazon earlier - it's been shipped, with delivery between the 11th and 13th.
Now what to do with it......... :D
 
I think the bastards cancelled my order — it's disappeared! No email or message on the account though, so at least they're sticking with their consistently bad customer service. :rolleyes: :p

EDIT: HUH. well, on looking again, it seems it is now cancellable, which it wasn't earlier today, because they were preparing to ship it. Who knows what is going on.
 
Mum ordered an iPod (scheduled to be shipped 14 Oct) and a speaker system (in stock) and asked for them to be sent first class rather than supersaver but together.

She told me today that she's had an email saying that they've shipped the speakers to her but that the iPod isn't yet in stock... we'll see. If the iPod gets cancelled, it will be interesting to see whether she gets to keep the 20% off the speakers that are already en route since that deal was dependent on the iPod being ordered.
 
I'd be on the dog and bone to them. Complain. If you bought it when it was advertised at that price then they have to sell it to you at that price. They will have records (As will you... Hopefully) so they will not be able to do anything.
 
Mine's gone and disappeared too...
I would have expected an email at the very least. When Play.com did a similar thing last year around XBL year memberships (accidentally priced at the month membership) they sent and email apologising for the mistake.
Not impressed with Amazon's customer services....
