It seems $276 is way to much for a no manufacturer named brand of RAM.

Forgot to mention, you can get this RAM instead.

Has lower price, it's from Newegg.com (reputable e-tailor) and Mushkin brand, a very good RAM manufacturer. Also, free shipping and you get the chance to get $20 by MIR.

Plenty of Mac Pro owners have bought RAM from TransIntl with success. It has lifetime warranty so you should be fine.

You must have selected 16gb ram instead of 8gb ram... check again

You don't get speed increase if you run normal app like Mail and browsers.

If you have 4gb ram and running massive Photoshop with 600dpi up (6000x6000 pixel) and running some video editing. You will experience slow down and struggling switching application and loading other applications.

8gb ram you might not experience those at all. Speed for 4gb and 8gb is the same.

What benefits you is to allow bigger application to run all at the same time.

OUCH! $24 shipping! Forget it! WTH lol

$138 + $24 = $162....

I rather go for OWC:
$163.73 including shipping for NuRAM... at least some known or heard brands with great OWC support.

TransIntl makes good stuff and I wouldn't doubt their RAM either.

Odds are it's just rebranded RAM just like OWC/NuRAM does it.

I think I'm going with that set up too.

It's in my cart now. Great price for 8 gigs of RAM.
