So I don't know if anyone noticed this but with the Smart Keyboard on the iPad Pro you can now actually launch apps via spotlight without touching the screen! After hitting Cmd+Space you can type an app name and hit enter to launch, just like on a Mac. Or use the arrows to scroll through results without having to move your hands off the keys to tap the screen.

Such a simple fix but it makes using the iPad Pro with a keyboard so much nicer. Did anyone notice any other keyboard shortcuts that were added? It would be awesome if you could launch split screen via the keyboard, but we'll probably have to wait for iOS 10 for that...

That's cool. Looking forward to using that wth my iPad Pro 9.7".

Does the option-arrow key shortcut work for moving the cursor word by word instead of letter by letter? And holding shift plus that would highlight word by word?

Hey nice to know! i always wondered why this didn't work! Should have been done a while ago I think

Awesome, good to know. I just ordered an iPad Pro. haven't ordered the keyboard yet; but almost certainly planning to get the ASK.

Having never used any tablet before I'm interested in knowing keyboard shortcuts on both ASK and screen

One very nice improvement is that the shortcut key to back to the Home Screen from an app is now "Cmd+H" instead of previously "Cmd+Shift+H".

Yep, pretty much all text shortcuts from OS X are avaliable. Also Ctrl + Arrow moves to the beginning/end of a line.

I notice that one as well, although they seemed to have removed double tapping Cmd+H to get to the multitasking screen. Oh well, I guess Cmd+tab is more efficient for the keyboard anyways.
