9.5" NewModeUS caddy for 2010 13" MBP

I've been reading all the threads concerning the optibay caddies and such and I just wanted to double check that this caddy:

how is that newmode treating you? worth getting over opitbay to save some $$?

Also, what are you doing with your external? The only thing more tempting about Optibay besides that it's more known is that it comes with an external enclosure for your superdrive in case you ever need it.

i believe the newmode has the holes thatll help you fit the bay in nicely w/ screws

the cheap one however, will just fit by being "tight"


in my opinion, theyre both secure.

I did the same thing and the good folks at Newmodeous emailed me instructions on how to remove the cover. Very impressed with the quality of the product and their prompt shipping and after sales support.
