When I first set up my iPad I could slide from the right side of the screen to open another app. This has stopped working. I toggled the setting and did a hard reboot. Any other tips?
[doublepost=1547928596][/doublepost]This is on iOS 12. I can pull from the dock to do split screen but I can slide over from the right side of the screen.

The reason I suggested it is the previously loaded app may have closed. I usually have iMessage loaded but I just closed it and of course can no longer slide it over.

So you’re saying you can slide an app from the bottom but what happens when you slide it off the screen? It’s gone and cannot be slid back from the side?

You need to put an app in slide over state and then hide it to the right to be able to drag it out again
