I was looking around for a list of new features, but couldn't really find one.

I've noticed my camera (3gs) now has zoom and touch to focus.
And of course the Calculator icon is new.
I also have a couple new alert sounds for text messages.

On and on... is there a thread on this already?

What are the new text alert sounds, if you don't mind sharing? (i'm not on 4.0 yet)

Touch to focus is old. Interested in the new text alert sounds tho.

Yeah, I meant to say just zoom.

What I'm looking for is a list of all these new features, instead of digging around looking for them...

Oh yeah, and there are some great new wallpapers that are designed to be home screen backgrounds.

Ummm....I dont have any new text sounds....and there were not any in any of the betas....could you please clarify what new text sounds you have?

I now have Tritone, Chime, Glass, Horn, Bell, & Electronic.

Pretty sure Bell and Chime are new.

Not sure about Chime, but Bell is, definitely, without a doubt, NOT new. I've been using that for the past year or so on OS 3.x.x.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A293 Safari/6531.22.7)

You can now focus on objects by tapping the screen while the phone is recording the video.

"Places" under photos.

You can now also edit the calendar for an even right from the phone (one of my biggest gripes!)

Still no option to edit the group of a contact.

The folders feature is great, as is the unified mailbox.

Have they gotten wise to multiple signatures yet? This is definitely a gripe of mine. Boss is very picky so on 1/3 of my messages where it may eventually get back to him I am forced to type a new sig.

+1 for the multiple Exchange accounts. My personal and work are on it so finally I don't have to pop my exchange server.

I found one!

If you turn your iPhone sideways in the iPod app, it switches to coverflow and you can flick through all your albums.

The app labels have more of a Windows ClearType effect now. On my jailbroken iPod running 3.1.2, if you had a wallpaper with white or some other light color in it, the labels would blend into the wallpaper and almost disappear. In iOS 4, the labels are bolder and do not blend at all.
