Flame and attack away....

I am a huge Apple fanboy, but this seems imminent, for many reasons, including market forces outside of Apple's control.

However, Apple's iPhone 4 issues are not helping their cause.

Yeah I want it to tank so I can buy a bunch.

I hear you, but the issue is to figure out where the exact bottom is.

I remember how just over a year ago Apple's stock was much lower than it is now...oh, I should have bought at that time...!

Today is recovery Friday. The market is heading back up and so will Apple.
yeah?

Nope.

Perhaps someone should learn how the stock market works before making wild assumptions.

The overall stock market decline must be Apple's fault. Dive dive dive!

Before the iPod, Apple's stock was around $15. I got it at $10 in 2000 and expected a ten year increase to around $25. Boy, was I wrong. Until Apple's dominance in new gadgets waivers, the stock shouldn't tumble.

I'm predicting that by this time next year if not earlier AAPL will be trading at 350 if not higher.

I'll take that bet.

also, one could blame the total market for Apple's drops, even though Apple's stock often goes up when all else is down...

something tells me that both the market in general and Apple's stock is going to fall, and both are going to blame each other.

the seeds for Apple's stock demise have already been planted in the media...watch the stock...

Yeah gee it's been awhile since anyone successfully revived the Apple Death Knell fad. So now we have the variation called Apple Stock Death Knell? Good luck with that in a year when iPad and iPhone are flying off the shelves :D

The stock will still be lower, want to bet on it?

Fact is Apple's market cap is vastly over valued.

An adjustment is on the way.

How does a stock I bought at $16.50 "tank"?

Apple bought me the following: my laptop, 23 in HD monitor, Canon XSi camera and three lenses including an L macro. My truck, TV, DVD, stereo and several years of rent.

My balance is ~ $52k

Look what scooping up 400 shares of a bad investment can do for you.

Your a joke if you think that this will devastate Apple's stock. I agree with the guy saying Apple will be at 350 in a year.. maybe even 375

I am glad to see that MR is populated with visionaries/dreamers...

if you are correct in your assertion, then why on earth would you not go out and buy about 1,000 or more shares of the stock right now. Go do it my man, I dare you...

Perhaps because he doesn't have a quarter million dollars in cash?

Yes, I'm 16. But I'll be 17 in a couple of weeks.
