*bookmarks thread under "Schadenfreude"*

I derive no pleasure from the misfortune of others, except maybe multi-billion dollar mega corps who have their user-base hypnotized...Lets also keep in mind that I own more Apple gear than most, including you.

BTW, Friday "press conferences" are usually bad news, this is just a fact of marketing.

EDIT: Feel like busting out of the reality distortion field? Well, then read this...very sobering article for the clueless fanboys and fangirls out there. Some of you need some perspecive on this issue, and here it is...

Any further contentions from the opponents of my thread title?....did not think so.

2nd EDIT: Told You!

OK, so it's been about four months since the OP, and the stock has increased roughly 20% (from 263 to 320).

Sell in July indeed!

Well it's the stockmarket. Smart traders sell fear and buy stock. Convince everyone to sell and their stock and you buy after it dips. It's a massively flawed system where Apple's equivalent of yelling bomb on a passenger jet is releasing a fake news story of Steve Jobs' death. How did that one work out?

In July, AAPL was trading at 250-260.

Today, it's at 320.

Don't quit your day job, Doug.

Haha, that's why you should never deal in absolutes, especially with the stock market!
Looks like Doug made some bets with other members, time to pay up! :D
