Here the Story:

http://www.boygeniusreport.com/2010/07/03/the-entire-steve-jobs-email-story-its-real/

:apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple::apple:

Why are all these sites getting so unglued over this issue? Its actually free publicity for Apple as people are going into Apple stores to see for themselves, cant replicate the issue (not realizing it is on wifi) and then placing orders. I saw this first hand today at Apple's Soho store. A line to get on the waiting list.

I think MR has handled this the best without getting into a tizzy. BGR has now fallen into the tabloid sphere of the gadget blog world along with the Gawker sites.

The only part of this article that I will believe is the part that says quote: "Yes, BGR runs rumors and information that is not always completely confirmed."

The rest is most likely damage control spin.

Steve stop responding to anyone !

Pretty much. Before, we could pretty much believe that anything sent from Steve (or his public relations minions with steve masks) was for-true.

Now I question the legitimacy of any Stevemail & whatever BGR conjures up. Even if their allegations are real and Apple is trying to do damage control (for their CEO, yeah right ), BGRs statements make me suspect.

DIGG the Boy Genius Report article if you have reception issues

http://www.boygeniusreport.com/2010/07/03/the-entire-steve-jobs-email-story-its-real/

Apple says it's fake.

BGR has fired back. To be honest after the treatment we've been getting regarding this reception issue, I am now doing the unthinkable and believing them over Apple.

Want to do something about your reception issues? DIGG the Boy Genius Report article about Apple PR lying to the press over this issue.

I have a better idea. Get a refund (if you actually own one) and move the hell on.

Just gotta say, email headers can be easily faked and modified.

If you read the story, they had access to the original emails. It'd be downright impossible to fake in the email. Screen shots, maybe fakeable. Faking in the detail posted would be incredibly hard.

I would believe that these emails are real. Boy Genius only posted the e-mails that they received, so when Apple denied them, its nots like Boy Genius was directly effected. So why would they go out of their way to make this all up?

Get over it and sell your phone if you are as unhappy as you seem to be with your phone.

I want a product that works. You apologists are exactly what causes corporations to stop being good stewards of the consumer.

Apologists? It doesn't work the way you wanted, you can either bitch about it, or actually do something and get your money back. How is that apologist?

I'm sure which choice will be made.

I'm not surprised in the least. These corporation will stop at nothing to pad their wallets.
