Comex To Release Spirit Like Tool To Jailbreak iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS (New/Old Bootrom)

I'm really glad to see that, I almost lost my hope for my iOS4 3GS, i just hope apple does that release soon enough
 
Comex is becoming the man! 1 he has the respect of the Dev-team (I Like) 2 he is not cocky, (I like more!) :D I am hoping to order my phone in about 10 days! but keeping a eye on Apple ad the many issues right now! hmm
 
Apple said a few more weeks before an update....Apple needs to fix the antenna issue quick, because its all over the news, so hopefully it wont be that long
 
Hopefully this will happen soon. I hate not having bitesms and lockinfo. Anyone have a list of what is currently working with ios4?
 
Woo...I want to play with 4.0, but need a jailbreak to be out...hopefully apple updates soon to get rid of their antenna issue.
 
wow i reallyy hope they hurry this along - as a canadian, this iphone4 is literally uselesss until i get my hands on this unlock + JB :(
 
Man, this is GREAT news! I've held off from updating my 3GS to iOS4 (and iTunes to 9.2) because I love my Spirit jailbroken phone too much.

I'm looking forward to trying iOS4 once they get the bugs ironed out.

Hmmm... I've read the exact opposite. From what I know he was either banned or kicked off of the dev team and is seen by the jb community as extremely cocky and usually not good on his word. I've even read that he announced a hack for the PSP that is almost 8 months late now

Not saying you are wrong, just that I've heard the exact opposite...

However, the iphonehacks.com write up says the opposite of what I've read, which is fine - I guess I don't really care, Im just confused about the nature of who is in and who is out - who to trust and so on so forth.

In the old days of JB if you listened to the wrong person you would get stuff on a baseband or firmware for a while, so I guess I'm still just very conscious of that still :)

All that to say, Ill believe it when I see it.
