I'm not sure if I'm the only one who's noticed this yet - but I was checking from my computer, iPhone & iPad for application updates as I usually do each afternoon and my MBP iTunes told me I had one app update, I clicked to check what update it was and it said it was for the MobileMe iDisk; unlike before, it was now showing the '+' icon, denoting that it is iPhone AND iPad compatible. I hit the update app button but it kept telling me that the item was no longer available....I tried to click on the MobileMe icon to take me the app page in the AppStore and it replied with a prompt stating that this item was not available in the US Store...I tried to run the update from my iPhone and same thing, 'item no longer available'...I tried to access the AppStore listing for iDisk from the AppStore on my iPad and after searching, it showed iDisk for both the Pad & Phone but trying to click on either icon in the store once again gave me the 'item no longer available' message. I went back to the iTunes on my computer, still showing that I had 1 update awaiting me...instead, this time, I clicked the 'Download All Free Updates' button at the upper left and it did download the update this time, which I've installed on both my iPhone & iPad...

Looks like they've got everything worked out; iDisk now showing up in the AppStore on my MBP, iPhone & iPad, available for download on each...

Apple has updated its MobileMe iDisk application [App Store] with a number of significant enhancements, most notably including a shift to a universal application to support both the iPhone/iPod touch and the iPad. In addition, the update brings multitasking support for devices running iOS 4, as well as integration of outside applications for opening documents and sharing enhancements.
- Designed for both iPhone and iPad
- Multitasking support for iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS (iOS 4 required).
* Quickly switch to another app and back to iDisk
* Play audio from your iDisk while using another app
- When app is opened, the last file or directory viewed is displayed
- Open to open iDisk documents in compatible apps such as iBooks
- When sharing a file, an email can be sent from any configured email account
- The URL for a shared file can be copied and pasted
- Various stability improvements
MobileMe iDisk was released for the iPhone and iPod touch nearly a year ago and received its first significant update in December.

Apple's iMovie application for iPhone 4 [App Store, $4.99] has also received a minor update, delivering improved reliability during exporting and a fix for an issue with music playback within a project, as well as other miscellaneous performance and reliability enhancements.

iMovie

They should really improve everything on that expensive iMovie app. (it's great and all) but need more things to edit with.
Effects and Transitions, and some way we could split clips...

Very nice news. Simple enough application. Glad it is finally here.

hmm, i am a little disappointed that i can't open RTF into pages. I am fully aware that i can just keep pages docs...but rtfs are nice in their flexibility.

+1 this + the fact that Apple is working hard on their iDisk apps sounds really good to me, this is going to be a no brainer very soon

Nice! Apple seem to be putting a lot of effort in to the mobile me apps on iOS, which is really exciting. Being able to sync more stuff between Mac and iPad will only make it more useful.

I can't wait to be able to sync notes with iOS4, mind.

Great Apple, now that Gallery and iDisk have seen updates can we please get an update to Remote for the iPad. And not just a fix to the 1x-2x problem, but a complete UI overhaul for the iPad to take advantage of the screen real estate.

Being able to play music in the background from iDisk is pretty big.

That's one big feature it has over Dropbox, now. I pretty much prefer Dropbox over iDisk for every reason, but that's finally one point back in iDisk's favor.

Yeah, I'm hoping for more themes, transitions, etc.

You can "split" a clip by dragging the same clip into your timeline more than once, then crop each instance in order to "split" it.

Wonder if this can replace goodreader on the iPad. Would be nice to use what I paid for again. Thanks Apple. :|

It's good and all, but unless iWork on iPad can actually save on to iDisk or Dropbox there's almost no merit.

To bad it take 7 hours to upload one tiny pic to idisk! Friggen thing is slower than the French Soccer team.

iDisk is still terrible and unreliable compared to dropbox. I pay for MobileMe and get dropbox for free.... something is terribly wrong with that picture.

Also, while the UI enhancement is great, Goodreader still trumps iDisk/iBooks for PDFs because it can do video out through the VGA/dock connector.

**** Yes!!!

Just update Gallery and I'll be very happy! Gallery is beautiful on the iPhone, imagine what they could do with the extra real estate of the iPad.

I have Dropbox also, but I would love to be able to just use my iDisk if it was more stable. It is ridiculous that on Me.Com you can't upload iWork documents without compressing them.

I am canceling my account because of this.
