second this.... always wait to hear from the dev teamno word from dev team yet...id wait for them.
Do you need to update it? Are you having problems?
If not, just wait... its not that hard.
I think there will be some issues. Currently, cydia can store SHSH on 3G + IPT2 which is not ordinary. For me, I would avoid all update.
It is for these young, impulsive ones.
Seems they just cannot wait to install every update.... sigh !
I know, unless you use iBooks or are having major problems whats the big deal
Never update soemthing that works fine is my rule![]()
Apple says look I have a new shinny toy!!! people go wow!!! a couple people ask what's it do? Apple says never mind I just give the toy to somebody else! then people scream I want it! I want it! Apple laughs and gives them the toy!
Just don't hold the toy the wrong way.
http://twitter.com/MuscleNerd/statuses/18974776945MuscleNerd said:iTunes 9.2.1 is fine for already-JB devices, also new JBs via redsn0w/PwnageTool. Avoid it for now for fresh Spirit JBs
By "fresh Spirit jb's", is he saying for those who recently JB'd with Spirit or people about to do one?
People who intend to apply a Spirit jailbreak in the future.
Which is likely the upcoming @comex useland jailbreak, correct ?
Actually, no. MuscleNerd clarified that he used "fresh" purposefully instead of "new" to avoid confusion with Comex' unreleased 4.0 jailbreak.
So he is referring to fresh Spirit jailbreaks (as in the one which allowed 3.1.3 to be jailbroken)
That's what I understand. So you can upgrade to 9.2.1 and continue to use it with your Spirit-jailbroken phone, but if you need to re-jailbreak your phone at 3.1.3 using Spirit, you will have to downgrade iTunes.
