Trackpad has become unusable after that stupid update

You mean it broke your trackpad? Or you just don't like the Inertia feature? If you don't like the feature, just turn it off via the system preferences under trackpad. Change with Inertia to without Inertia.

If its something else, please explain more.

i liked inertia, but i thought it was causing the problem so i disabled it.

basically, if i click on my trackpad once, it won't click away or it won't let go of the item it clicked. so i'll start dragging random stuff everywhere... such as items out of my dock and what not.

never had this problem before, and i want to remove the update if possible.

edit: just remembered i had BTT installed (for safari's 3 finger swipe up/down). i just checked updates and they released a new update. i guess BTT and Apple's update didn't like eachother. will report back if this fixes my issue.
 
yes^ that's the problem.

i'm wondering if better touch tool caused it though... i just updated BTT and we'll see if that fixed anything.

but in the meantime, is there anyway i can uninstall the update?

My mom and I don't have Better Touch Tool, and we still have the issue. From what I understand, the only way to remove the update is to wipe the hard drive, and re-install OSX, and start over... but not installing the update.
 
I have the same problem, but for me, it started ~1 day before I installed the update. I finally broke down and installed that update (had held off hearing it caused problems with BTT or JiTouch), and it didn't help the issue, but I can safely say that for me it wasn't caused by the update.

Haven't found a solution for me yet.

What Mac do you have? And for me and my mother, this issue started after we updated.
 
I have the Aluminum MacBook, 2008 model. Just before the 13" MacBook Pro was introduced.
