Just got my macbook replaced.

Previously had the AU Monitor and loved it...

Now recieved the 9c8a Monitor and the whites seem very light and washed....

Does anyone know who makes the 9c8a? And how it compares to the AU monitor i previously had? Any suggested display setting to change or just go back and ask for a new one???

I bought a macbook on boxing day from Futureshop in Ottawa and it has the 9c8a screen as well. Apparently that screen is made by Samsung. I can't find the article right now...

From seeing both the 9c8a and 9c89 in person and from reading the forums, it appears to me that the 9c89 is a bit milky and the 9c8a is a extremely clear but lacking contrast and has a 25ms response time (9c89 is ~5ms i believe).

I'm going to check out the 9c89 again in the store and see which i prefer - milky or lacking contrast... maybe it's just my 9c8a but that's my opinion.
