iPod touch A 128gb Touch....will we ever see it??

When flash memory prices drop, right now 128GB flash items are still too much over the 64GB versions.
I plan to be here 2012. Where are you going? Maybe you were thinking 2112, the Rush Album. 😀

Just watch each new June iPhone announcement. When the iPhone hits 64GB, you can be pretty sure a 128GB Touch is coming the following Sept.
I think he meant this whole "Mayan calendar ends 2012 - apocalypse" thing. 😀 BTW I hope to see a 128GB iPod touch next year.

It will come probably come out in September, so we would get a few months to use it before the world ends.

Might be a stupid question but is it possible to upgrade your iPod Touch's memory assuming it exists? I myself am fine with my 2g iPod Touch but would love to get more space in there - 64gb or if possible, 128gb. I gotta get in there soon to replace the cracked glass and thought I'd change the battery too while in there since it doesn't seem to be as good as it used to be

According to the mayan calendar, the world will actually end on the 21st of December 2012 - 3 1/2 months after the 128 gb will be announced. So we'll be able to play with it for 3 1/2 months! (That is, if you believe in that legend, which I definitely don't 😀)

If not, then you wait.
If that were the case, he would have found it in a cave and tried to show to show it to the priests in the temples. they would then tell him that they have no need for his 128Gb ways and that it was just a waste of time...

I think you have to pay a bit more than a couple hundred dollars for him to set up a entire production line for your shiny 128Gb iPod Touch. 🙂
Only music pirates want a 128GB Touch. Show me a person who paid for 128GB of music at the iTunes store.
Then get the 160GB iPod Classic. The market for a 128GB Touch today for $599 is too small at current memory prices.
