    Hey everyone,

Today I was in the John Lewis store in Edinburgh and they have an ex-demonstration mac pro sitting ready to be picked up which has been reduced a couple of times. The current price they have on it is £999.

It was a 2x2.66GHz Xeon model with 1GB RAM, the 7300 graphics and 250GB HDD. Not sure how much of a bargain that is though, can anyone advise?

This one is going for £1500 - apart from storage and more RAM, I think it's the same. So £999 seems quite a good deal considering the price of RAM and hard drives nowadays.
