Currently the only way, without significantly readjusting your grip, is to enable Reachability. So you do the swipe down on the home bar, then swipe down on the top right corner (now at the middle of the screen). It works well enough.

But what if...

What if we could just use the Reachability shortcut itself (swipe down on home bar) to bring down the Control Center?

That would be fantastic. And much more convenient.

I wish we could configure that gesture, similar to the way we can with the accessibility triple-click.

Who can I pitch this idea to?

Not a bad idea, but what do you do with reachability? I use that more than control center.
I think that’s why I’d go with a configuration option (similar to the accessibility shortcut I mentioned) instead of overall replacement. Me personally, I never use reachability. The only time I use it now is to access Control Center.

So, of course, people who do use it would not configure it the way I mentioned. Then everyone is happy 😎

But this is iOS, so I am sure that won’t happen, haha. Customization is left to a minimum. But if there ends up being a jailbreak tweak for this, I might consider doing it! Haven’t done a jailbreak since iPhone 4, and this would bring me back over, haha. Along with a good dark mode.
