Is MobileTerminal the only terminal emulator for iOS?

It is good, but too basic. It doesn't even support copy and paste and does not have easily accessible meta or arrow keys.

So is there a better terminal emulator available?

Not sure of any alternative. If your near a computer you can SSH and use terminal on your pc/laptop. You can also install additional commands and and such via Cydia. Just make sure your Cydia settings are set up for developer and you'll see all of them. For example, I use the top command quite a bit when I'm having issues with my iPhone. There are other packages as well.

If you do find an alternative to MobileTerminal please post it. Thanks!

I actually knew this. But I never noticed there was an "Enable Copy Paste" option there. But you made me look again and I found it! Thanks :)

I actually want an emulator app for my phone. I noticed that there are many SSH apps in the App Store.

Maybe I can install them and connect to localhost (the IP address of the iPhone) or something?

I use Prompt from the App Store, and yes you can easily connect to localhost. Awesome terminal app.

I currently have Server Auditor installed, which I also use for remote SSH.

If I type localhost as the IP, it doesnt work. So to make it connect to the local terminal, I used 127.0.0.1 as the IP, which worked :)

I'll check out Prompt later. Thanks.

The best alternative is Prompt in the app store, save localhost as bookmark.
