a briefcase-type thing for PowerBook?

I'm looking for a metal-shell briefcase that's thin, light, and sized for a 15" PowerBook. Just small enough to carry the PB and something like the power cord.

Here's an idea of something similar to what I had in mind...

and love it

they have some other cases that are good as well

but mactruck is awesome
(a bit pricey)
but well worth it

Yeah, that's pretty much exactly what I was looking for. But damn that's expensive :eek:

How's the fit? Do you just carry the PB without any power cords? If yes, I'd imagine that's a pain if you're using it for any extended period of time... Maybe I can get a 17" case and fit in the cord.

i used a Zero Halliburton aluminum Z Case for my 15" TiBook and it was the best case I've ever owned. Period. It's water proof, can take a 60 foot drop and it looks cool. Not a lot of storage but if you're looking for protection it can't be beat IMHO. http://www.zerohalliburton.com/

Only if you have a few hundred bucks to spare...
