Or at least weird. I have a couple of games that run in landscape mode. This moves the home line also so it stays at the bottom of the landscape screen. I found a couple of things - you can swipe up to bring back the full screen but you can't pause and bring up the app switcher view. The second and I think more important bug - once I do the landscape app and go back to the normal screen none of the swipe actions work- with the phone turned either way. I find the only way I can restore the swipe up functions is to open a different - portrait mode app from the main screen. Then all goes back to normal.
Not sure if I'm missing something here - my second day with an X but swipe up gestures should work when running a landscape mode app or after without having to launch a portrait mode app. Am I right or am I missing something here. Running 11.1.1

I think you have a glitch.

I have a couple of landscape games too, and I can bring up app switcher no problem. I can also access all the normal gestures.

Try rebooting and see.
