a clone dvd program for osx

hey . i'm looking for a program that can clone my
dvd's.

i have original dvd's that i whant to create a copy to back them up.

in thr pc i used a program [ clonedvd ]

is there a similar prog for osx ???

mac the ripper, to copy to your HD.
toast, to copy from HD to DVD.

i do this and it works great for me.
if you need to compress the DVD, try popcorn, or DVD2one (search google)

Handbrake doesn't clone a DVD, it re-encodes it into MP4, which won't play on a normal consumer DVD player.

Oops! You're correct, of course. I had DVDrip on the brain since I'm going on vacation shortly and need to rip some DVDs onto my MBP for the trip. Sorry! 😱

There is a Mac port of Clonedvd2 out there but it is in Japanese only (you don't have to be Einstein to figure out what does what).Try CdFreaks for more info.

Does anyone have an icon for mactheripper? Good program but the icon is ugly.

MTR is what I always use, followed up by Toast or Popcorn and you're good to go 🙂
