I am trying to figure out if it is possible to safe files from my iPad onto a USB or SD card with one of the adapters. EIther the camera adapter or the other cable type adapter. I know you can get stuff off cards onto the iPad but i want to be able to save my files that i work on to an external device.

Another question. When i am working on a pages paper how do i save it incase of crash. I want to make sure i save often to not lose my work. Does the iPad save automatically or do i need to hit a button somewhere?

Thanks for all the info.

I'm not sure on the first question. I tend to say no, but something like Goodreader might be able to do it (it's a very handy app to have in any event).

As for Pages, AFAIK it saves constantly and automatically.
