I have a few questions for MobileMe people: 1. When you signed up for MobileMe, was the username you wanted available or did you have to pick another? 2. When you signed up for MobileMe, did Apple send you an email to the address you provided confirming that you were officially a member of MobileMe?
I already tried to set up an account and it turns out the username I tried to pick was already taken however, the sign up form didn't point that out to me. So when I tried to log in, it said "invalid...blah blah." I went to the iForgot site to reset the password but the username I picked was registered to a "bellsouth.net" email. Mine is "sbcglobal.net." I guess this means the username was already taken. It's great to find that out after giving them my credit card information. I must however admit that when I was signing up I was distracted and away from the signup page for a long time. Maybe it voided my submission because I spent too much time applying.
Anyways, I'll try again in a couple of months. If you can answer my questions, please do.
