Firstly, why isn't CoverFlow implemented in the iPad? Obviously Apple is quite proud of the CoverFlow interface, and it seems like the large touchscreen would be the perfect place to feature it.

Secondly, why is the music app called "iPod"? the "iPod" app in the iPhone is called such because it has both music and videos, just like a regular clickwheel iPod. The iPad has a built-in "Videos" app, just like the iPod touch, so it would make a lot more sense to have the music app be called "Music", as that's all it is.

I know these are small quandaries, but they've been bugging me. It seems like some of this wasn't really thought through...

Because Coverflow is a gimmick and no one uses it.

Really? I find it a whole lot faster to bring up the alphabetic list and just jump to the right one.

Agreed. Unless by mistake, I only use coverflow when showing someone my iPhone for the first time.

I actually use CoverFlow... It's great if you aren't sure what you want to listen to.

I agree that CoverFlow sucks in te Music app. Makes it nearly impossible to use the music player in bed. I think, though, that if we do get multitasking it will be handled like WebOS, but instead of "cards" it will be a CoverFlow-esque interface, which would explain why we didn't see much of it on the iPad, yet.

I know the album artwork much better than the title of the album, for many artists I don't care about the album name and just put the artist name in for it instead.

I have my own way of organizing my music i guess.

Are you sure coverflow isn't in the ipad? I swear Jobs said you could use coverflow with the ipod app during the keynote. Where are you getting the info that its not included?
