a good external hd for winXP and a mac?

i need a big external hd to transfer files off two windows computers xp/98 to a mac. any good options? i've been looking at tigerdirect but need advice.

I have a 160GB Acomdata USB 2.0/Firewire 400 drive, and it works great for both my Mac and my PC.

Depending on your size of need. my early recommendation goes to western digital (WD) passport for buspowered (2.5" hdd and don't require external power brick). 160GB is $130 at your local costco. usb 2.0

if you need more than 160, look at WD My Book. At costco as well for a good price of $190. has usb 2.0 and firewire400
