Does anyone know of a good shareware program that can be used to make animated avatars? It's alot easier to make them yourself than to rely on others to get them right.

Thanks

erm, the only one I know of is Adobe ImageReady- but that comes bundled with Photoshop. Its not the easiest of all gif animators (it is, of course, made for pros) but will get the job done for you.

By the way, Im not sure of going shareware on a gif animator is the best idea. Ask Vniow- he can get you up to speed on anything Ive missed.

I have used mainly Jasc Animation Shop and sometimes have played with Adobe whats-its-name but so far haven't felt the need for such advanced controls.

Animation Shop is a PC app that came bundled with my PC.
Try VersionTracker.com and search for animation/animate etc.
