A good reason not to "hardware hack" the iPhone.

    do you think this is possibe to happen if I used the itoner software and only have 5 or 6 ringtones?

    That can only happen if you mess with the hardware.

    I (and many others) think that happened because they touched the battery with metal. If it had a user removable battery then that WOULDNT HAVE HAPPENED! YOU LISTENING APPLE???? :D

    The hardware hack still seems very complicated scraping away a trace without breaking it, then soldering a wire to it.
