A jailbreak solution for iPhone OS 3.1.3

Hey everyone, I would like to inform you all the there is a new jailbreak solution out called Spirit. I used it on my 8GB MC Model iPod touch runing 3.1.3.
It's claimed to be able to run on any device running 3.1.2, 3.1.3 and 3.2. It is untethered. If you would like the link to it just click here!

I have the 3rd gen iPod touch on 3.1.2...should I upgrade to 3.1.3 then use Spirit to jailbreak it??

Not required, but you may as well, since there are a few apps that call for 3.1.3

also, will the Spirit jailbreak wipe out everything like my songs?? Or just add Cydia to it??

It just adds cydia. A previous version did wipe out photos as a few of us found the hardway, but they fixed that bug.
