I recently applied for a job with Apple and had two interviews. In my opinion both went really good. I was told on the second interview that I should hear from them by the end of the week or early this week. I haven't heard anything back and when I previously applied for a different position I received an email saying they were pursuing other candidates. I know it's a busy week at Apple with all the new releases and training. My question is for people who have applied for jobs in the past. Does Apple normally send out an email or call to let you know that you didn't get the job?

shouldnt you ALWAYS do your own follow up? some companies use it to guage your interest in the company, as opposed to just trying to get work

    good luck!

working for apple would be amazing

Just give them a call and ask for an update on your application. They will get back to you very soon......

I called earlier this week and spoke with the second manager I met with. He said that their looking at the possibility of bringing in some people from another store which is about an hour away. I checked online and the position is still listed. I don't know if this was a blow off answer or if it is true. Anyways if the position is still listed online in the next couple weeks to you think it would be wrong to call back and speak with the first manager I spoke with? He is the one that called me to set up the screening and to meet with the second manager? I really want the job and it would give me the opportunity to do something that I would love

It was for a retail position. I'm going to give them a call this week and see if the other manager I talked to is available. I just want to put it out there that I really want this job. I wish if it was a no and they were not interested they would just say so. What's wrong with being honest?
