I'm trying to download Zombieland on my MacBook Pro from iTunes in the purchased section.

I could download Pirates Of Carribean from the purchased section but when I tried Zombieland a window popped up which said

"This item cannot be downloaded on this network
You must connec to a wi-fi network or download it only your computer.

Umm hello Apple I'm both on a computer and using a wi-fi network.

Any solutions?

I stumbled across this thread via google and signed up to reply.

I'm currently having the same exact issues on my apple TV (ethernet), desktop PC (ethernet), and iPhone 4 (wifi).

I tried a number of things troubleshooting the appletv.
I reset the modem and router. Reset the apple TV to factory. Tried both wifi and ethernet. Ensured that the IP address assigned via DHCP was correct to the apple tv (it was - i use static DHCP).

after that I went down to my PC and that's when I realized all of my devices were affected, I even tried logging in with my wife's apple id to download a free TV episode and I got the same error message.

oddly enough both itunes and the PC icloud utility prompted me to login which never happens.

I'm on hold with applecare. the guy is talking to a "network" person now.

ETA: this is a known problem. the itunes store is having "issues". they hope to correct it in the next few hours, but there is no definite timeline.

Haha thanks for saving me from troubleshooting. You guys have already covered everything that I would've tried.

It's now prompting me to log in very often.
