awsome widget. I made a to go on my windows desktop cus i dont use a mac often enough. dunno have anywhere to put it online but if you want it just ask. :D

To update an old thread again...

Now you don't need a specialized rss widget for macrumors, just use the webclip feature in leopard!

Make a web clipping of this page:
https://www.macrumors.com/pages/

Check it out!

The link doesn't work anymore. I'd love to have this widget, could someone repost please?

You don't need a widget anymore, just use the webclip feature in the way I described above.

However, my webclip seems to be acting funny, it doesn't seem to keep the correct region of the page in the widget window like it's supposed to. Anyone else encountering the same problem with webclip widgets?

I know I can use a web clip, but I prefer to use a widget. I find them more reliable. Do you mind if you just repost it?

Come on, there must be someone here with these widget. And motulist, what about all the people still running Tiger? They do not have Webclips.

I don't know which widget people want but I have two, (not the original one from this thread unfortunately)

I have no idea where I got these from but you may find a use for them

Thanks xUKHCx! They're both nice widgets - my Dashboard is now complete. :D

I have the original one somewhere... I suppose I could put it back up.

A note about the ForumSpy widget: technically it pulls the same amount of RAM as Safari, so like Safari, the longer you leave ForumSpy open, the more RAM it chews up. It's a good widget to have on your desktop or whatever but every once in a while you want to close it and relaunch it.

thanks, i'll try these out

Thank you for the widget upload!

Did you really have to bring this old thread back up?

I would think one would like the fact a thread was brought back, usually means the person did a search, found what they were looking for instead of creating another thread and pissing everyone off, you know "this question has been asked a million times" type response.

very nice! I used to have dashcode beta on tiger, and I really had lots of pleasure with it!

Man, thanks so much for posting these!!!

I had a different widget that displayed the front page articles and it didn't work right in Leopard. It would work, but when you'd click the links, nothing happened. It's nice to have a functioning widget again. Awesome! :)

I still use this version because I think it looks the best:

The most recent version is still available to download from post 56 of this thread.
That's the one I was referring to that isn't working right in Leopard. I really wish it was. Great widget.
