Wow. Maybe I should just wait until the iPhone 4 is widely available before I buy. This is just getting ridiculous.

Mine is activated, and now syncing, so I cannot check...but...to all those who are now saying, "Glad I waited. I will wait for the next batch"...Think again.

When I got my Macbook in early 2008, this forum was FILLED with production complaints about VARIOUS production runs of the Macbook. Depending on when your Macbook was built, and in what batch, it could suffer from a variety of defects.

ANY production run can have defects.

If Apple cannot fix it, then they have to replace the phones...but...in the meantime, you have an amazing new iPhone to play with and use.

i have a 32GB. Only have one yellow spot. quite big. its on the weather app. I think that might be the sun though. no other spots.

You know, it might be the 10-second smooth jazz loop from the Premier phone line messing with my addled brain, but this actually made me do a mini-lol irl.

Suddenly I'm not so anxious to get the phone, it's not like I even have a choice as my Best Buy only got 2 of the 32GB models in and I'm #6 on the list. I can wait another week or so.

32GB here, checked with an all white background and the result is no yellow spots. However, the screen overall does seem to have much more of a yellow cast than my 3G, comparing them side by side in the same applications.

It also seems that the backlight is not as bright on the 4 as compared to the 3G. With both at the same brightness settings, the 3G looks noticeably brighter to my eyes.

If there

Dont have a iPhone 4 or yellow spots...so I'll just have to see tomorrow. :D

I didn't notice until I opened the flashlight app and turned up the brightness, but my 16 gig has yellow blotches along the top and bottom of the screen. They are not solid lines, just minor blotches that are not that obvious unless looking for them.

Perhaps it is the adhesive that holds the screen/lcd/digitizer together?
