Just saw this on Kickstarter: a keyboard that is designed to mount over your MacBook's butterfly keyboard:


Kind of ironic they are releasing it today (16" new keyboard day).

(I have no affiliation with the project.)

OMG that's ugly and unnecessary. Why not just use any wireless keyboard at that point
The only advantages I can see is that it's designed to "lock" in place by having little inserts that fit between the laptop's keys (i.e. it won't slide around), and it also leaves the TouchID/Touchbar exposed, although probably hard to use.

Surprised he didn't add function keys...

I guess one good thing about it being so prominent is you're less likely to forget and close your lid on it 😳
